After 25 years of serving here in this beautiful city and after much love-filled urging by our closest family and friends, we are venturing out to be a light shining for Jesus, drawing people of all backgrounds through music, art, and hospitable worship to find sanctuary and be at home in the presence of God, nurtured by community with the breaking of bread and feeding on God’s word.

 

We have discovered the path to sweet reconciliation across the gaps of generation and culture and race and

economics and education and social status. The only way is to simply lay down every agenda and love Jesus

with all our heart, soul, brain, and body. Our home is known for being full of art and music and writing and

worship and sanctuary and good food and love because of Jesus and all that he brings.

It is time for us to grow what we’ve sown in this holy place.

Sparks House intends to accomplish this by holding worship events, art galleries, workshops, group outings, and much more as time goes on. These events will be filled with community, food, fun, and joy! We can't wait to see what the future holds for Sparks House, and we can't wait to meet all of you!
